Yearbook pictures continue to be taken during gym classes today for all Juniors. We will complete the Sophomores & Freshmen pictures on Monday. It is your responsibility to make sure your picture is taken on one of these days in order for it to be included in the yearbook this year.
Agendas are available for sale in the Counseling Office for $5.00. There is a limited supply available.
Class of 2014, you can still order your homecoming t-shirt: bring your order form and money into the counseling office.
The Class of 2014 is looking to borrow a trailer to use for the float, if you have one to loan please contact Lynne Drake at 267-3120. If you have any patriotic decorations you would like donate to the Class of 2014 send them into the counseling office by September 24th.
Attention Student Council Members... Our first "in school" Student Council meeting is this Friday at 2:30. It will be in the old faculty cafeteria, which is next to the student cafeteria on the first floor. This is a very important meeting confirming all Homecoming plans, so please plan on attending.
Auditions for the fall drama, "The Crucible" by Arthur Miller, will be held in the auditorium on Wednesday, September 15 at 7 pm.
Drama Club will have its first meeting on Monday, September 13 at 2:30 in the cafeteria. New members are welcome.
From the Attendance Office: Welcome back Parents! Program my number in your cell phones (267-1109). You don’t have to wait for the day your student will be absent. You are welcome to call ahead. We would appreciate it if you make that sure you call no later than the day they are absent. Thank you.
Parking Permits for Seniors: Please get your parking permits by the end of today. You will not be allowed to park in the parking lot, starting on Friday, without a parking permit. To get a permit, see Mrs. Chernyak in the Main Office. Bring your license and registration with you.
Sutherland High School has a new cell phone policy: Cell phones may be used in the school. Students are not permitted to use them during classes, including study halls.
Attention all Junior and Senior girls! If you would like to participate in this year’s Powder Puff games, sign-ups are during all lunch periods today and tomorrow.
The Pittsford Rugby team will be having fall ball sessions every Wednesday during September and October. Sessions will begin next Wednesday and will run from 3:30 to 5:00 at Mendon Ponds Park. There is no experiences necessary and new players are strongly encouraged to come out and give rugby a try. See Coach Tuzzolino in the social studies office for sign-ups and more information
